السيرة النبوية عند المستشرقين الإنجليز المعاصرين : كارين أرمسترونغ نموذجا

Abstract

تناولت الدراسة السيرة النبوية من منظور الاستشراق الإنجليزي المعاصر، مبيّنة أن الاهتمام بها ليس جديداً، لكنه شهد تطوراً في الرؤى والمناهج الحديثة، خاصة في الدراسات المكتوبة بالإنجليزية. وركزت الدراسة على تحليل وتقويم نماذج مختارة من أعمال المستشرقين، مع اتخاذ أعمال كارين أرمسترونغ نموذجاً لما تحمله من رؤية منهجية جديدة وتطور في الفكر الغربي تجاه السيرة النبوية، وذلك بالاعتماد على الموروث العلمي السابق، وصولاً إلى نتائج علمية خلصت إليها الدراسة. The study examines the Prophet’s biography from the perspective of contemporary English Orientalism, showing that interest in it is not new but has evolved in terms of approaches and methodologies, especially in English-language studies. It focuses on analyzing and evaluating selected Orientalist works, taking Karen Armstrong’s writings as a model for their methodological innovation and the development of Western perspectives on the Prophet’s biography, drawing on earlier scholarly traditions and leading to clear academic findings.
