المذهب العقدي الإباضي في الفكر الاستشراقي

Abstract

تناولت الأطروحة بالدراسة والنقد البحوث الاستشراقية حول المذهب الإباضي، مبيّنةً تنوّعها واختلاف مناهجها ودوافعها، ورافضةً تعميم الحكم عليها سلبًا أو إيجابًا. هدفت إلى تحليل هذه الدراسات ومقارنتها بالمصادر الإباضية للكشف عن مدى موضوعيتها العلمية. خلصت الدراسة إلى أن الاستشراق أسهم في التعريف بالتراث الإباضي رغم ما شابه من تحيزات، وأن كثيرًا من المستشرقين اعتمدوا مصادر إباضية مباشرة، مع بروز تباينات داخل المدارس الاستشراقية نفسها. كما أبرزت النتائج تميّز الإباضية عن الخوارج، وتطور أصولهم العقدية، وحرصهم على التعايش ووحدة الأمة، مع وجود بعض الدراسات التي وقعت في الخلط أو الاتهام غير الدقيق بالاقتباس من مذاهب أخرى. This study analyzes Orientalist research on Ibadism, covering its historical emergence, theology, and socio-political doctrines. It finds that Orientalist works vary widely in methods, motivations, and quality. While they contributed to discovering, cataloging, and translating Ibadite manuscripts, some were biased, unscientific, or influenced by colonial agendas. Most scholars used original Ibadite sources, with Pierre Cuperly noted for his objectivity. Key findings on Ibadism include its clear distinction from extremist Kharijites, emphasis on coexistence, evolving doctrinal principles, and a strong commitment to freedom of thought. However, some studies misattributed beliefs, questioned historical figures without evidence, or overemphasized influence from other schools. Overall, Orientalist studies are valuable but must be critically assessed.
