Abstract

الشيخ إبراهيم بيوض ومنهجه في الإصلاح The master's thesis presents an in-depth historical, analytical, and evaluative study of the efforts of one of the most prominent leaders of the reformist and educational movement in modern Algeria. The core problem of the study revolves around exploring the intellectual and practical foundations of the reformist approach of Sheikh Bayoud, and tracing its applied mechanisms in the fields of education, religious guidance, and social and political work, while demonstrating his pivotal role in preserving the Arab-Islamic identity and resisting the French occupier. Accordingly, the thesis seeks to highlight the features of renewal and moderation in the Sheikh’s thought, and to provide a scholarly reading that documents his contributions to the Algerian reformist renaissance and the building of a rational society..
