Abstract

تُعدّ هذه الأطروحة الأكاديمية دراسةً تحليليّةً مقارنةً تبحث في "نظرية الكسب" عند المتكلمين، باعتبارها موقفاً عقائدياً وسطاً يسعى لحل الإشكالية بين إثبات القدر المطلق واختيار العبد وتبرير التكاليف الشرعية. وتستعرض الرسالة التطور التاريخي والمفاهيمي لأفعال العباد، موازنةً بين تطرف "الجبرية" في سلب حرية الإنسان وجعل أفعاله مجازية، وغلو "المعتزلة" في القول باستقلال العبد وخلقه لأفعاله. كما تُفصّل الأطروحة عبر فصولها الأربعة في المعاني اللغوية والاصطلاحية للفعل والكسب، مبرزةً المبررات النقلية والعقلية للنظرية، وأثرها البالغ في معالجة إشكاليات العقيدة والتشريع والنشاط الإنساني المعاصر بالاعتماد على أمهات المصادر الأشعرية والاعتزالية. This academic thesis is a comparative analytical study that examines the "Theory of Acquisition" (Nazarīyat al-Kasb) among the scholastic theologians (Al-Mutakallimūn). It views this theory as a middle theological stance aiming to resolve the dilemma between affirming absolute divine decree (predestination) and human free will (choice), thereby justifying religious obligations (Al-Takālīf al-Shar‘iyyah). The dissertation traces the historical and conceptual evolution of human actions, balancing between the extremity of the Jabriyyah (determinists)—who strip human freedom and view human actions as merely metaphorical—and the exaggeration of the Mu‘tazilah, who argue for the independence of the human being and his creation of his own acts. Furthermore, across its four chapters, the thesis delves into the linguistic and terminological meanings of "action" (Al-Fi‘l) and "acquisition" (Al-Kasb). It highlights the textual (scriptural) and rational justifications for the theory, as well as its profound impact on addressing contemporary dilemmas concerning dogma, legislation, and human activity, relying heavily on the seminal primary sources of both the Ash‘arite and Mu‘tazilite schools.
