Abstract

تشكل الحضارة والسيطرة الغربية اليوم تحدياً مستمراً وشاملاً لكل الشعوب الأخرى: علمياً، عسكرياً، سياسياً، تقنياً، صناعياً، اجتماعياً، ثقافياً وروحياً معا، ومع استمرار هذه الغلبة وتوسع دائرتها وتعمق الشعور بضخامتها يزداد إيمان الشعوب الضعيفة بعجزها وفقر ثقافتها، ويرسخ لديها النزوع إلى الاقتداء وتقليد الغالب في شعاره وزيه وحلته وسائر أحواله وعوائده، وذلك لدى الخاصة والعامة معا ولا فرق في ذلك. هذه الصيرورة أفضت في الأخير إلى انتشار ظاهرة التغريب وتحيَز الثقافات والمجتمعات في دول العالم الثالث إلى الغرب، وبالخصوص أمريكا والإعجاب بثقافتها واعتبارها نموذجا يستحق الاقتداء به.
