أعيان مدن الكنفدرالية السيرتية و مساهمتهم في الحياة البلدية

Abstract

اشارت النصوص الإبيغرافية التي عثر عليها بمدن الكنفدرالية السيرتية بشكل جد مألوف لتلك العطاءات التي كان يمنحها النبلاء لصالح سكان المدن التي ينتسبون لها، و ذلك في إطار نظام الأعيان الذي أقرته السلطة الرومانية، أين كان هذا السلوك بمثابة أحد المجالات المميزة في الحياة البلدية للنبلاء وواجب مهم في مسيرتهم، من خلاله يعمل النبلاء على تعزير مكانتهم داخل المجتمعات التي ينتمون لها، في هذا السياق ستكون دراستنا هذه متوقفة على إلقاء الأضواء على الهوية الاجتماعية لبعض هؤلاء الأعيان، و كذا التعريج حول طبيعة الخدمات التي كانوا يقدمونها للمدن التي ينتمون لها، الى جانب التقصي حول الغاية والحافز من وراء تقديمهم لتلك الخدمات. The epigraphic texts found in the cities of the Cirtean Confederation made a very familiar reference to the donations that the nobles granted to the inhabitants of the cities to which they belonged, within the framework of the system of notables approved by the Roman authority, as this behavior was considered to be one of the distinctive areas of municipal life of the nobles and an important duty. In their journey, nobles work to strengthen their position within the societies to which they belong. In this context, our study will depend on shedding light on the social identity of some of these notables, as well as examining the nature of the services they provided to the cities to which they belong, in addition to investigating the purpose and the motivation behind providing these services.
