Abstract

تعتبر مشكلة طبيعة اللغة الدينية من المشكلات الأساسية التي اهتم بها الفيلسوف البريطاني ولتر ستيس في فلسفته الدينية، لما لها من أهمية بالغة، ذلك لأنها الوسيلة الوحيدة لترجمة مختلف التجارب الدينية وتأويلها والتعبير المباشر عن الواحد المطلق، واللغة العادية هي لغة قاصرة حسب ولتر ستيس، لأنها لا تستطيع أن تتجاوز العقل، في حين أن مفهوم الواحد يتجاوز العقل والمنطق، لذا ينبغي استبدال هذه اللغة بلغة الرمز، ذلك لأن الرمز وحده هو القادر على تأويل الخبرات الدينية والوصول للواحد اللامتناهي The problem of the nature of religious language is one of the fundamental problems, that the British philosopher Walter Stace was concerned with in his religious philosophy. because of its great importance, because it is the only means of translating and interpreting different religious experiences and directly expressing the absolute one. And ordinary language is a language that, according to Walter Stace, is deficient, because it cannot transcend the mind, while the concept of one goes beyond reason and logic, so this language should be replaced by the symbol language That's because only a symbol can interpret religious experiences and reaching the infinite one
