Abstract

من أبرز السمات التي اتسم بها جامع البيان عن تأويل آي القرآن لابن جرير الطبري مقابلته بين الأقوال التفسيرية لأعلام التفسير الذين سبقوه واشتهرت أقوالهم من الصحابة والتابعين وتابعيهم كابن عباس وابن مسعود ... ومجاهد وابن إسحاق والضحاك وقتادة ومحمد بن كعب القرظي والشعبي والزهري وغيرهم ممن ملأت أقوالهم التفسيرية تفسيره، وهو حينما يعرض هذه الأقوال إنما يعرضها مبينا على كل قول وموضحا الصحيح منها، ليرجح بينها فيما يراه راجحا من المعاني استنادا إلى ضوابط وقواعد احتكم إليها، وذلك بأوجز ما أمكن من الإيجاز، ولا يوجه المعاني وما فيه من البيان إلى الشواذ من الكلام والمعاني، وله في قصيح المعاني والفهوم وجه صحيح موجود، وهذا هو الغالب الأعم على تفسيره، ولكنه قد يجمع بين الأقوال التفسيرية إذا ظهر له أن الجمع بينها أولى، وأن اللفظ القرآني تحتمل دلالته كل المعاني التي ذكرت، وقد التزم الطبري هذا المسلك العلمي المنضبط في تفسيره لسورة التوبة وهو المسلك ذاته في تفسيره كله One of the most prominent features that characterized The Statement Collection on the Interpretation of the Verses of the Qur’an written by Ibn Jarir al-Tabari is its contrast between the exegetical sayings of the scholars of interpretation who preceded him and whose sayings were famous from among the Companions, the successors and their followers, such as Ibn Abbas, Ibn Masoud... Mujahid, Ibn Ishaq, Ad-Dahhak, Qatadah, Muhammad bin Ka'b Al-Qurazi, Al-Sha'bi, Al-Zuhri and others whose exegetical sayings filled his interpretation. He presents these sayings by explaining the justifications for each saying and clarifying the correct ones, in order to give preference to what he deems the most correct of the meanings based on the regulations and rules that he resorted to, in as a brief as possible way. The meanings and their statements are not directed to an offbeat speech and meanings. His eloquent meanings and understanding have an existing true face. This is the generally predominant characteristic of his interpretation. However, he may combine exegetical sayings if it appears to him that combining them is more appropriate, and if the Qur’anic term bears all the meanings mentioned above. Al-Tabari adhered to this disciplined scientific path in his interpretation of Surat Al-Tawbah, and it is the same path in his entire interpretation.
