Abstract

أدركت الثورة الجزائرية منذ اندلاعها دور الإعلام وأهميته من خلال تدويل القضية الجزائرية في المحافل الدولية وتنوير الرأي العام بأهداف الثورة التحريرية، مما دفعها إلى ضرورة إيجاد صحافة مكتوبة تابعة لها ناطقة باسمها لتوضح مواقفها وتتبع كل أخبارها، فكان نتيجة ذلك إصدارها جريدة المقاومة الجزائرية سنة 1956 1956م، وقد دعمت هذه الصحيفة بجريدة أخرى أطلق عليها اسم "المجاهد" من طرف قيادة الثورة التحريرية. حيث خاضت معارك إعلامية لا تقل أهمية عن المعارك العسكرية التي خاضها المجاهدون داخل التراب الوطني؛ و قد لخصت أهدافها في افتتاحية عددها الأول وكما جاء على لسانها: " ستكون المجاهد اللسان الناطق المأذون له أن يتكلم باسم جبهة التحرير الوطني، كما سيكون المرأة التي تنعكس فيها نشاطات جيش التحرير الوطني، وستتبوأ المجاهد مكانتها لتكون سمع الرأي العام وبصره ولتزود الشعب بالأخبار الحقيقية فتكون صلة الوصل بينه وبين مجاهدي جيش التحرير الوطني..."، و يعتبر النشاط الثوري من أبرز القضايا التي اهتمت بها المجاهد ، حيث كشفت عن الجرائم التي كانت تقوم بها السياسة الاستعمارية الفرنسية، مما أكسبها صدى عالمي و دعم مختلف الدول العربية والافريقية وكذلك العالمية. .
