Abstract

تتناول رسالة الماجستير، دراسة حديثية وتاريخية ومنهجية معمقة لأحد أهم المصادر الموسوعية في تاريخ الرجال والرواة عند المسلمين. وتتمحور مشكلة الدراسة حول استقراء واستخلاص المعالم المنهجية والنقدية التي اعتمدها الإمام ابن سعد في تصنيف رواة الحديث والعلماء، وتتبع آلياته في تقسيم الطبقات، ومعايير الجرح والتعديل لديه، ومدى اعتماده على مرويات شيخه الواقدي؛ حيث تسعى الرسالة إلى إبراز القيمة العلمية المضافة لكتاب "الطبقات الكبرى" في صيانة السنة النبوية، وكشف الخصوصية المنهجية لابن سعد كعالم ومؤرخ جليل أسهم في ضبط مسار الرواية وتوثيق التاريخ الإسلامي المبكر The master's thesis presents an in-depth Hadith, historical, and methodological study of one of the most important encyclopedic sources on the history of narrators and biographical evaluation (Rijal) among Muslims. The core problem of the study revolves around exploring and deducing the methodological and critical features adopted by Imam Ibn Sa'd in classifying Hadith narrators and scholars. It traces his mechanisms in categorizing generations (Tabaqat), his criteria for biographical criticism (Al-Jarh wa al-Ta'dil), and the extent of his reliance on the narrations of his teacher, al-Waqidi. Accordingly, the thesis seeks to highlight the scientific added value of the book 'Al-Tabaqat al-Kubra' in safeguarding the Prophetic Sunnah, and to reveal the methodological distinctiveness of Ibn Sa'd as a venerable scholar and historian who contributed to regulating the path of narration and documenting early Islamic history..
