التوجيه اللغوي للقراءات الْقُرْآنِيَّة عند أبي الحسن محمد ابْن كَيْسَان النحوي (ت299هـ)

Abstract

This research paper focuses on the linguistic orientation of the Quranic readings according to one of the scholars of the Baghdadi school, namely Ibn Kaysan (d. 299 AH). The paper tries to explain what he mentioned of the meanings extracted from the readings according to the arrangement of the surahs in the Quran which amounted to a few dozen readings, and which he directed according to the cases in which it was presented to him including the phonetic, individual and structural orientation. This research relied on the descriptive approach by conducting its analysis to conclude that Ibn Kaysan was not an imitator in choosing the linguistic aspect, and he did not cancel any reading, no matter how correct it was.
