Abstract

Digital social networks are utopian environments for self-disclosure and exposure. Internet users find in these platforms the ideal place to externalize their intimacy in order to validate their self-image. How does self-disclosure develop on digital social networks? To what extent and in what way does digitization affect the privacy of Internet users? The objective of this article is to describe the different technodiscursive processes made available to speakers to show themselves in front of other users: purely linguistic processes (language markers), technolinguistic processes (composite marks combining technique and language) and technogeneric (discursive genres specific to the net).
